Cheif Technology Officer

Okojokwu Kennedy Ogbole He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Abubabakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. He was a pioneer student of the Masters Programme in Technology and Industrialisation of Centre for Technology Policy (CETEP) which later became CETEP City University and completed his course work only before the University packed up. Okojokwu also has a Masters in Advanced Information Communications Technologies specialising in Advanced Embedded Systems Design from International Institute of Information Technology Hinjawadi Pune India. Kennedy studied International Relations and Diplomacy in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria for a semester before leaving for India. He has since topped up this aspect of his interest by completing the Masters in Strategic Studies of the University of Ibadan; a program that caps the thorough 12 months strategic and highest level military course of the Nigerian Defence College (NDC). Okojokwu pools together over 31 years in the military as a Signals and Military Communications Officer. He has had the opportunity of working with people and equipment from diverse backgrounds at local and international levels and has a depth of experience ranging from ICT through to telecoms, their convergence to satellite design , cost and other management issues. He has been involved in training different levels of personnel from most endowed to the less endowed academically. Cumulatively, He spent 21 years in Nigerian Army School of Signals training personnel in ICT, and various aspects of military communications. He has done some work on writing policies, managed men and equipment at various times for stretches of up to 16 months under operational conditions. He returned in January having served a one year four months tour of duty in United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) as Commanding Officer Nigeria Signals 11 and before then a one year in 2003/4 in United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) as Operations Officer of an infantry battalion, Nigerian Battalion 20. He looks forward to serving humanity in other capacities and putting technology to work in bringing men closer and keeping the peace. He is a member of the Nigerian Computer Society and Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. He is a fellow of some institutes; Fellow of the Defence College fdc, Fellow of the Certified Institute of Cost Management (FICMN) and Fellow of the Institute of Quality Assurance of Nigeria (FIQAN). He has attended and participated in several local and a few international seminars and workshops. He has participated in putting together several Certified Institute of Cost Management international workshops and many seminars and mandatory professional programmes. He is a presently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Certified Institute of Cost Management. Kennedy is a practising farmer working towards attaining capacities and competence in commercial and industrial agriculture with interests in processing, exhausting value chains, export and imports, mechanisation and automation. He co-owns a ginger and tumeric farm, poultry, fish ponds, oil palm plantations and mushroom farms.
